NSW Solar Rebates 2025: Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Incentives

By joining a Virtual Power Plant, you can share stored solar energy with the grid, earn rewards, and get more value from your solar investment—without lifting a finger. Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) are transforming how solar and battery systems operate by connecting multiple homes and businesses into a shared energy network. In NSW, homeowners and small businesses with eligible battery systems can receive financial incentives for joining a VPP and allowing their stored energy to support the grid during peak periods. From 1 July 2025, the incentive amounts you can receive are: up to $550 for a 10 kWh battery or up to $1,500 for a 27 kWh battery. Get in touch for more information about home batteries and VPPs.
